Paul Stelzer

Paul M. Stelzer, President of Appleton Corporation, oversees all functions at Appleton Corporation (AMO), with a dedicated professional staff of employees under his direction and responsibility for nearly one million square feet of real estate assets.

Mr. Stelzer's professional experience in real estate began more than 27 years ago. Among the positions he held prior to joining Appleton are Former Vice President and Regional Manager of Shawmut Bank's Western Massachusetts Real Estate Division; Real Estate Asset Manager for Forge Development Corporation; and Licensed Broker and Property Manager for both the Cavanaugh Fritz Company in Hartford, CT, and the Norwood Group in Bedford, NH. In addition, he has handled numerous real estate advisory and consulting assignments, including tenant representation, and has proven expertise in both small and large investment real estate transactions.

Among the many boards and associations to which Mr. Stelzer belongs are the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the National Business Incubator Association (NBIA), and the U.S. Green Building Council, through which he developed expertise in photovoltaic installations and operations.

Mr. Stelzer's civic involvement is as extensive as his professional experience. A tireless volunteer, he has served his community as a Board Member and Chairperson of Cathedral High School, his alma mater; on the Board of Trustees at Elms College; as a Board Member of WFCR Public Radio Foundation and the Scibelli Enterprise Center; and as a past chairman of both the Springfield Economic Development Corporation and the Springfield Civic Center Board of Trustees.

Mr. Stelzer holds an MBA in Management from New Hampshire College and received his BGS in Management from the University of New Hampshire.
